Bandera Chapter 643 is sponsoring Wreaths Across America for 2022.
Our mission is to be able to lay a wreath on every headstone at the Ft Sam National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX. We want to Remember, Honor, and Teach. Join us by sponsoring a wreath to be placed in honor or in memory of a veteran. Help us ensure that the sacrifices of our heroes are never forgotten.
The wreaths will be placed on the grave sites on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 11:00 am. All are invited to attend the ceremony.
We will be accepting Sponsorships at $15 each. For each sponsored wreath, Bandera Chapter will receive $5, which will be used for scholarships for graduating seniors.

Donations for 2022 must be received by November 11, 2022.

History of Wreaths Across America:
Wreaths Across America is a program that started at Arlington National Cemetery in 1992 by Morrill and Karen Worcester, from Harrington , Maine. Our mission is to lay a wreath on EVERY fallen HERO's headstone for the holidays. The Worcester's made Wreaths Across America a national program in 2007, so that we could continue year after year to make sure that our fallen heroes that are laid to rest in state and national cemeteries will never be forgotten. The program is a healing process as well. To be able to stand at a headstone, speak the name and say "THANK YOU," whether it be your family member or someone you do not know......it will change your heart.
Texas has proven time and time again that we are proud of our Military. Let’s show that we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice that we remember them at this time of family and love.
