Worthy Matron Gloria Eaton took backpacks and other items to the Kendall County Women's Shelter.  See photo below.

A huge thank you to Gloria for the idea, for making the purchases, and for delivering the items.  Another big thank you goes to Past Matron Robbie Lloyd who offered the silver drill from her most recent year and to the attending members who voted to approve the motion.

Boerne Chapter 200 Gives Back Packs to Kendall County Woman's Shelter

Boerne Chapter No. 200 gave 10 backpacks to the Kendall County Woman's Shelter (KCWS). WM Gloria Eaton came up with the idea and Robbie Lloyd, Junior Past Matron, gave her silver drill for the project.

Inside each backpack were games, crafts, or other items that would interest children of different ages.  The chapter  members hope to help alleviate the stress KCWS residents are experiencing from both domestic trauma and the required COVID-19 isolation.  More backpacks are planned.
